While addressing the press at a press conference in his capitol Hill office,the former prime minister claimed that the jubilee government is planning to steal from Kenyans on 33 billion shillings secret water project.In his statement,the former prime minister stated that the construction of the Itare water dam would lead to 8 counties loosing water and ending up dry and that the main purpose of building the dam and redirecting the water is targeted for personal use.
The dam project is expected to supply water to areas such as Molo,Salgaa ,Njoro and Elburgon.Raila Odinga also stated that the project would turn areas such as Migori,Bomet,Nyamira,Kericho,Kisumu,Kisii counties into deserts,stating that 12 rivbers will be redirected to supply the dam with about 100 million litres of water per day.
The Itare water dam project will be done in Kuresoi constituency.Is the revelation true or the project is being politicized?Well time will tell.
